Wednesday London were tasked with creating a new and exciting eCommerce experience for luxury brand Sonia Rykiel and diffusion line Sonia by Sonia Rykiel expressing the bold but elegant playfulness of the brand, highlighting the lookbook images and video content.

My role was to create the UI designs for the pitch. The information architecture and product hierarchy was already decided so my focus was on creating a joyous and visually rich homepage introducing the brand to new users and reigniting excitement on existing loyal customers.

High priority goals were:
to create a harmonious transition between Sonia Rykiel and diffusion line Sonia by Sonia Rykiel hosted under the same website. Bring on the forefront of the website the videos and lookbook so that the users didn’t have to search for this content. Propose a solution that would make all images shop-able both on desktop and mobile.
